S.O.A.P (aka Son of A Pitch) is a DJ and beatmaker from Paris, with UK influences: bass heavy Hip-Hop, future dancehall with laser noises, dubbed-out Drum’n Bass and other stuff that makes buttocks move. He has worked with vocalists as diverse as Perfect Hand Crew, Joseph Cotton, Anouk Aiata, Biga*Ranx, Oxmo Puccino, Fete (ex-Saian Supa Crew) Phases Cachées King Massassy, Yoshi, Racecar or Indian singer Tritha … and of course Taiwan MC whose two EPs he produced. Also an instrumentalist, he has toured with french rapper Vincha and currently with Taiwan MC (singer of french band Chinese Man), backing him on stage with his turntables, piano, melodica and other machines.
