Mikal
"Since using the SUBPAC, I’ve found it’s really helped with the mixing process when balancing the bass. I can also monitor at much lower levels and still get a really accurate response. Instead of hearing, I could feel what was happening in the low end of the mix."
Q&A with MIKAL about the SUBPAC:
What role does “feeling” play in the music you make and love?
It plays a huge part. Bass is one of the most important elements in the music I make and is designed to be played on large sound systems that enable you to feel the low frequencies.
Has the SUBPAC changed the way you create, produce or mix music?
Definitely! It helps recreate that sound system feel in the studio, which has changed the way I mix tracks down. Since using the SUBPAC, I’ve been able to mix the low-end sounds in much greater detail without the use of a sub or needing to monitor at loud levels.
