"One could say that really everything is frequency; vibration that is interpreted by our senses as being light, sound, colors, physical sensations and objects. SUBPAC helps to blur those lines and understand and experience frequency and it's interplay with our reality on new levels."
Q&A with J*Labs about the SUBPAC:
What role does “feeling” play in the music you make and love?
Feeling music expands the boundaries and definition of what we perceive as sound. One way of looking at things is that everything is vibration. We perceive a certain spectrum of the frequency as “sound” another as “vision” another as “touch” and so on.
Has the SUBPAC changed the way you create, produce or mix music?
Yes in a couple of ways. The SUBPAC has made it much easier for me to really know when I have the right amount of low-end on a track. It’s also helped me maintain good relationships with my neighbors!
