"One could say that really everything is frequency; vibration that is interpreted by our senses as being light, sound, colors, physical sensations and objects. SUBPAC helps to blur those lines and understand and experience frequency and it's interplay with our reality on new levels."
Q&A with J*Labs about the SUBPAC:
What role does “feeling” play in the music you make and love?
Feeling music expands the boundaries and definition of what we perceive as sound. One way of looking at things is that everything is vibration. We perceive a certain spectrum of the frequency as “sound” another as “vision” another as “touch” and so on.

How could “physical audio” change our relationship to sound and music in the future?
Being able to feel sound takes us more deeply into the music by appealing to our other senses and giving us a broader experience.
What excited you about the Feel SUBPAC project?
I love the idea of bringing sound into a greater dimension and it’s exciting to be a part of such a groundbreaking project. I think that through this work we will soon find previously undiscovered information about sound, vibration, and how it relates to our existence, our health and our wellbeing.
